We all know that we shouldn’t be using images we find on Google because of Copyright issues. But did you know there was a way to find images you can use and modify?
Google’s image search is useful to find any type of image. It can also be used to search for photos with specific usage rights.
Go to www.images.google.com and enter a search term. Click on Tools and then click on Usage rights. Now click on Labeled for reuse with modification or if you don’t want to modify any images, click on Labeled for reuse.
If you want to make sure you can use the image, just click on it to be brought to the website it was found on. Most of the images I clicked on said they were free to use.
Where can you use these images?
- Blog Posts
- Social Media Posts
- PowerPoint Presentations
- And the list can go on and on!
Some other great places to find FREE images:
- Im Free
- Little Visuals
- Negative Space
- ISO Republic
- Life of Pix
- Stock Up
- Death to the Stock Photo
- Creative Market
- A Prettier Web
Just make sure when you are using images from the Internet, they are not copyrighted.
In my next blog post, I am going to talk about how to backup your social media content.
Until then, Keep Calm & Love Social Media!
