Since December, 2014, Michelle has been on the board of advisors for Femfessionals Rochester. She holds the position of Membership Chair, where she looks for business women who are positive, open-minded, driven, professional, and ambitious.
Through Femfessionals Rochester, she is also on the committee for Bra-Dazzle. The purpose of Bra-Dazzle was to raise awareness and money for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. People, organizations and companies donated money to decorate a bra, which was then modeled by male members of the community. For their first year (2015), they were able to raise over $5,000.
Michelle just recently won the 2016 Up & Coming Business Woman Award sponsored by the Rochester Women’s Network. This award is given to emerging women leaders from the Greater Rochester Community.
She was recognized as a finalist for the 2016 Digital Rochester Technology Woman of the Year Award where they celebrated the achievements of women in high technology fields. This year, Michelle was the youngest woman to be nominated.
Michelle has been profiled in numerous publications, including a Woman to Watch in the Democrat & Chronicle and in 3 different city publications of Natural Awakenings (Rochester, Pennsylvania, & Tucson)
On a personal note, Michelle is from Rochester, NY where she lives with her husband of 10 years, their 5-year-old boy and two fur baby cats, Anibel and Mama.
Michelle’s passion is to help people better themselves and their business by using social media. She wants people to see what it can really do for their business, how it can help them grow, like it has helped hers.
